I just created this new blog to write about things which i as a user of different products/ideas/.. or any crappy thing existent on this earth, experiences!!
No.. no saas bahu types gossips abt products here! Agreed I have any kind of that masala in my life.. I am just a boring bakwaas girl! but I have another blog for this- sort of my personal diary - more of a morphic land where I can just write about my stupid, crappy thoughts!
Okay.. so now for what i experienced while watching Outsourced!! ( dont you think i really deviate from, obliterate , obfuscate the main topic - ya ya .. i know i am a confused person who is trying to use some words while preparing for GMAT :D )
Finally Outsourced!!
Plot : How Americans and Indians both are coping with outsourcing.. how an American finds Indian culture.. how this American falls in love with an Indian girl..
Actually it was a smart sexy handsome american falling for a fat, big eyed .. big nosed .. dusky.. chalaak total saas bahu types.. knows exactly when to cry to take make him do what she wants.. type INDIAN girl..
No.. Mr Jeffcoat.. Indian girls are not like that.. showing our desperation.. n going for one night stands before our arranged marriage!! for those who argue that they have seen Indian girls like that , please, atleast one having high religious spiritual values as Asha in the movie is shown to have.. wont go for one night rangraliyaan... uff!!
Okay.agreed..we do want to know a lot about whats happening in lives of other people.. and thats why we ask n enquire a lot.. buts thats a good thing in our culture.. and OMG this is shown as very rude and crass on the part of Indians in the movie.. uff!! please , somebody go and tell Jeffcoat thats how we bond here!!
Its a comedy movie ..you know why.. coz if you have lived in India, you would certainly feel that things would never happen in a way thats shown in the movie.. and you laugh at it because its totally unexpected .. you would have never imagined it to be this way..like the scene where a lilttle boy offers the American his seat and then he jumps to the American's lap to sit!! Common, where in India would you see little boys jump to sit in your lap without your permission!! And yes Mr Jeffcoat, we do have something called as "Dettol" In India with which we wash our hands after we piss. I mean its so hilarious to hear that our left hand is unclean!! bah!!
The movie was not at all balanced.. showing more of culture shocks the American experiences than those experienced by Indians while they try to learn and adapt to American culture to sell goods made in China to the American customers. Oh yea.. we are very flexible and fast learners and more aware too.. so no shocks!!
Ohh My.. this has grown to such a long post, I better end up my post here else my criticism of the Movie for missing so many nuances of Indian culture and for showing the
whatever little Indianness the movie tries to show as utter crass and stupid would continue forever!!
